自述

本人长期研究兴趣为骨骼肌和脂肪细胞中蛋白质精氨酸甲基化通过调节机体代谢导致/预防肥胖症和糖尿病的发生。硕博期间共发表英文SCI论文40余篇,包括9篇第一作者论文。

2016年,经中国科学院大学国际交流合作处资助,公派到美国普渡大学Dr. Shihuan KuangFull Professor)实验室开展肌肉发育以及成体肌肉干细胞再生的研究工作,并在《eLife》杂志上发表一篇论文。同时获得一个精氨酸甲基转移酶5调控脂肪代谢的老鼠模型。博士后研究期间,进一步深入了解蛋白质甲基化参与调控脂肪发育以及代谢的机制,揭示精氨酸甲基转移酶在肥胖和2型糖尿病中的作用。目前已完成5篇论文,其中1篇已在《Advanced Science》杂志上发表,另有一个在《Science Translational Medicine》投稿中。

在此期间,作为重要参与人合作进行了利用生物医学工程手段治疗肥胖、肌营养不良症以及肌肉损伤相关疾病的研究工作,并获批一个NIH项目。相关成果在《iScience, Molecular Therapy》和《Bioactive Materials》杂志发表。

合作导师Dr. Shihuan Kuang在培养博士研究生以及博士后 (实验室先后培养出浙江大学教授国家‘青年千人’计划入选者,美国佐治亚大学助理教授, 塔尔顿州立大学终身教授、副院长),撰写基金(实验室目前有3R01项目,每年研究经费超过100万美元)方面有着优良的记录。并且以第一或者通讯作者在一系列的高水平杂志例如Cell, Cell stem cell, Nature medicine, Journal of experimental medicine, Nature communication, Cell reports, Trends in Endocrinology and Metabolism上发表多篇高水平的论文。同时长期作为Nature communication Developmental CellPNAS等高水平杂志的审稿人。

博士后期间的培训涵盖了大量为今后作为独立PI的职业发展的活动,包括基金撰写,参与学术会议并报告,实验室管理和参与博士生培训。我的合作导师,研究项目和博士后培训将为我实现研究肥胖和糖尿病的长期兴趣打下坚实的基础。

1.蛋白质精氨酸甲基化参与调控脂肪发育以及肌肉发育、代谢及肌肉干细胞再生的研究 (构建了5个小鼠模型)。

2.筛选新型精氨酸甲基转移酶特异性抑制剂。

3.设计并构建靶向药物递送系统 (例如nanoparticle-based drug delivery methods),特异性地将药物递送至脂肪细胞,开展抗肥胖及抗糖尿病功能的研究。

4.利用转基因小鼠模型研究生物节律调控肌肉脂肪代谢(目前已有两个小鼠模型)。

5.筛选特异响应肥胖、糖尿病和衰老的基因,利用转基因小鼠研究其功能(目前已拿到4个小鼠模型)。

6.探究不同地域生物(青藏高原)的脂肪储存和产热代谢机制进化。
